If you ride the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train to Santa Barbara, ask your train conductor for a "Transit Transfer Pass". You will get passes for two free rides on Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District buses and shuttles.

Downtown-Waterfront Shuttle

Visitors to Santa Barbara enjoy riding up and down State Street and along the waterfront in a small, open-air, quiet, electric shuttle (pictured on right). The fare is only 25 cents. Shuttles run until 6 PM year-round, and until 9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays from April through October (daylight savings times). Check the schedule for all the details.
